The Story Behind TWP

TWP was born from what I’ve seen and what I’ve lived.

On one side, I’ve met countless founders with brilliant ideas and deep passion who burn out trying to do everything themselves. They’re expected to be the visionary, the strategist, the project manager, the marketer all at once. It’s overwhelming. Too often, they give up not because the idea wasn’t strong, but because the right support wasn’t around them. I believe that with a clear plan, a trusted partner, and honest accountability, people can achieve incredible things. I’ve seen it, and supporting them through that process is what drives me.

On the other side, I bring not just seven years of professional experience in improvement and transformation but also lived experience that has shaped every part of who I am.

I entered the care system at 14. At 17, I became a mum a life-changing experience that taught me about care, resilience, and responsibility. Years later, a traumatic birth nearly cost me my life, leaving me to relearn how to walk, talk, and swallow. In 2021, I lost my father to suicide a profound loss that deepened my understanding of mental health and the systems we rely on.

These experiences brought me into contact with almost every part of the public sector, from social care and health to education, housing, and the police and through it all, I’ve seen how fragmented and inconsistent these systems can be. They’re exhausting not only for the people navigating them, but also for the professionals working within them.

That’s why I care so deeply about co-production, equitable access, partnership working and the idea that no one should have to tell their story over and over again just to get help. I also believe in creating the conditions where great staff can stay, grow, and thrive and in understanding not just what people do, but why they choose to do it. When we reconnect with purpose, we build stronger, more human systems for everyone.

TWP exists to bridge those gaps to support founders who are building bold new things, and to help public sector teams reshape services with and for the people they serve.
